Launch of a book on COVID and post-COVID overseas medical humanitarian field trips

CCOUC Co-Director, Professor Emily Chan, launched the third book in a series about medical humanitarian field trips with students and colleagues by giving a public talk on the book at the annual Hong Kong Book Fair on 16 July 2025. The book entitled The Chan-terbury Tales Trilogy Volume 3: One Thousand and One Nights covered overseas trips during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The talk where Professor Chan shared the experience, insights and stories of her overseas medical humanitarian research and practice trips attracted an audience of more than 100, both current and former members of her teams and the general public.
