Global Climate Summit: Right Here, Right Now 2025

As a member of the Oxford University community working on climate change and health, CCOUC participated in the Global Climate Summit: Right Here, Right Now jointly organized by Oxford University, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, the International Universities Climate Alliance and various universities across the world from 4 to 7 June 2025.

The global dialogue included a 24-hour hybrid global academic plenary co-delivered by universities across the world and broadcast live across time zones, which helped reduce air travel usually associated with international conferences. There were also local talks and discussions hosted by Oxford University and partner universities in respective countries around the world.
