Dr. Ryoma Kayano of World Health Organization Centre for Health Development visited CCOUC

Dr. Ryoma Kayano, Technical Officer of World Health Organization Centre for Health Development in Kobe of Japan (WHO Kobe Centre), had attached to CCOUC as a visiting fellow for a month in April 2019 to strengthen mutual understanding and collaboration between the two institutions.

Dr. Kayano’s research focuses include health emergencies, mental health, disaster mental health, dementia, non-communicable diseases, and disaster risk management for health. In addition to various meetings to discuss research collaborations, he gave an in-house presentation to CCOUC members to introduce the works of WHO Kobe Centre on 10 April 2019.
