Synopsis

In time of war, everyone living in the countries involved would be affected in some ways like experiencing continuous sense of uncertainty, life-threatening moments, losses and grief, relocations, separations, etc. For those working in a humanitarian organization to help serve humanity in these countries, what are they experiencing and who would care for them? Responding to the mental health and psychosocial needs of the humanitarian workers in Ukraine is as vital as responding to the needs of the general population. Being the first field worker taking up this initial position in the Ukraine operation, what has our speaker experienced and what lessons have been learnt?
